Our head office in Upper HillThe Company started on 1st August 1981 as a partnership in the name of Gatheru Irungu and Company, incorporated on 14th August 1982 in the name of Gatheru Irungu Company Limited and changed its name to Gatheru Irungu Mugo Co. Limited on 25th February 1987 and Gimco Limited on 18th February 1998.

Gimco is located on Kiambere Road in Upper Hill on its own property .Gimco has invested heavily in personnel training with very low turn over of staff. Gimco has a team of highly trained and dedicated professionals. We are possibly the biggest employer of Land Economists in the private sector in the country .Gimco has a wide geographical coverage and has offices in various parts of the country namely Nairobi, Mombasa, Nyeri,Nakuru, and within the East African Region in we have associated company interests in Kigali, Arusha and Dareesalam.

Gimco has a strong client retention basis with some who have stood with the company for all its life. Gimco Limited is represented in Tanzania by Gimcoafrica Limited being a private limited liability joint venture consultancy firm specialized in Debt Collection, Letting/Marketing, Property Management and Development, Valuation and Estate Agency. Gimcoafrica Limited is owned by a local Property Management and Valuation firm known as AFRICA PROPERTY Limited and a Kenya registered Valuation and Property Management firm known as GIMCO Limited.

We are undoubtedly leaders in the market and The Institution of Surveyors of Kenya in many areas of performance awarded a Certificate of Honour to Gimco.
